1. K2 EDTA Tube:

   • Purpose: Used for collecting whole blood samples for hematology tests, including complete blood count (CBC) and blood cell morphology.
   • Additive: Contains K2 EDTA (potassium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) to prevent blood clotting by binding calcium ions.
   • Applications: Hematology, blood grouping, DNA testing, and FBC 2ml *With Anticlot agent is enough.

2. Plain Tube (Serum Tube):

   • Purpose: Collects blood for serum separation.
   • Additive: No anticoagulant or preservative.
   • Applications: Chemistry tests, hormone assays, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
   • Without Clot Activated, Plasma Rich Pallete (PRP), Good PRP.

3. Lithium Heparin Tube:

   • Purpose: Used for plasma separation.
   • Additive: Contains lithium heparin to inhibit clotting by enhancing antithrombin activity.
   • Applications: Biochemistry, electrolyte analysis, blood gas tests, and good for Fomema Test (Not for Biochemistry test).

4. Clot Activator with Separating Gel Tube:

   • Purpose: Separates serum from blood cells.
   • Additive: Contains clot activator (e.g., silica particles) to accelerate clot formation, and a gel barrier to separate serum during centrifugation.
   • Applications: Biochemistry, immunology, and serology.

5. Gluco Tube (Glucose Tube):

   • Purpose: Collects blood for glucose testing.
   • Additive: Contains sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate to inhibit glycolysis and preserve glucose levels.
   • Applications: Diabetes management and glucose tolerance tests.
